This Simplex Strainer has been the industry standard simplex basket strainer for over 75 years. It’s perfect for industrial and commercial applications where the line can be temporarily shut down for strainer basket cleaning or changeout. A reason for its popularity is the unusually large basket capacity. The quick opening, swinging yoke can be disassembled and the basket removed in seconds. On sizes 4? and larger, a special cover clamp is provided to distribute the seating pressure and to insure positive seating of the cover.

BERG's unique system gives complete protection to water circulation equipment with absolutely no down-time. When water pressure across strainer drops to a selected critical level, the alarm and light are actuated. By manually switching to a secondary filter line, the original filter or strainer may be cleaned while maintaining circulation.
All pump starters are panel mounted on the side of tank or remote panel and are pre-wired to the pump motors. Starters can be controlled with manual Stop / Start switches and indicator lights or HMI ( Human Machine Interface ) type Logic Controller. Motor circuits are protected with premium quality overload protection. This system is used to control chiller units in a multiple central chilling system. The temperature controller is located at the BERG tank and senses the process water temperature. The process water temperature is maintained by cycling the chiller units.
